Taste Profile
A classic green tea from Zhejiang province in China. It is probably the first Green Tea known to the Western World, and is the most popular amongst green tea specialties.
It is made up of green tea leaves rolled into tiny pellets - hence the name!
Full bodied, smooth tasting, bold and slightly smoky, it is higher in caffeine than other green teas.
Benefits
High in energy, it is a great pick me up for first thing in the morning.
With all the antioxidant, and digestive benefits of green tea, it is a stronger brew, packing a bit more punch.
How to Brew
2 teaspoons or 2-3 grams per 250ml of boiled water. Pour the water over the herbs. Infuse for 3-5 minutes and enjoy! Can be refilled 1-3 times.
Options
Add honey for a sweetener, or lemon slice for a twist.
Brew and chill to serve as an iced tea. Add ice cubes to the finished drink
Can be frozen in ice cubes and added to a smoothie

50g = approximately 15-20 first cups (most tea can be used for 1-3 refills)
100g = approximately 40-50 first cups
